Front Cover!

Here is the start of my front cover, first I added the main image which would be used as a background for my magazine front over and when creating the size of my magazine front cover I also added in margins so everything would be in line when I put my title in and other things such as the masthead etc.

Here is where I wanted to place the head in front of the total film so I had to copy the layer which just has the image in then I turned off the layer so it was just the copied image and I outlined my models head and removed the rest of the image, I then re-arranged the layers so that the outlines part of her head was over the top of the title (Total Films) I then turned the other layer back on.
after I turned the layer back on this is what my front cover looked like so far and after doing that process I started to fill in my front cover. By doing this process, my magazine front cover started to look a little like the front covers which total film make.
then I started to fill in my front cover by adding in a mast head and I started to create a film pane by adding in a rectangle on the bottom of the page, Then I started to fill in the film pane by adding images in but they all had to be around the same size but because they were different shapes it was quite hard to try and get them the same size, same shape and good quality.

Then I started to add in some cell lines in the middle of the page and I also added a corner cell as the finishing touch to my film pane, I also gave a little title to my film pane "Throwback Friday" to give the readers an idea of what the film pane is about and what they might find further in my magazine.
After that I started to add more things to my front cover such as more cell lines, as you can see there is a reoccurring pattern of red and white being used (this is called a stroke) and I will be using this throughout, such as one line will be ion red then the line after will be white and it will follow on from there.
Now I am on the final step and just needed to add the rest of my cell lines and I added a button cell, I made the outline of the cell by
